Zack Snyder's Justice League: 10 Issues That Hold It Back From Greatness

4. Steppenwolf Still Sucks

The Snyder Cut does do many things better than the original version of the film, but as for the main villain Steppenwolf... yes, he's still a terrible villain.

There is a scene which expands on his motivations and that was a lovely inclusion, but other than that he's the same tedious, personality-free and badly-rendered blob of CGI he was before. Additionally, he's also an appalling waste of poor Ciaran Hinds - yet again.

As for the other villains in the film, Darkseid (Ray Porter) makes a solid debut (although the CGI on him isn't the best), and Jared Leto's Joker is a little better than he was in Suicide Squad, but Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor is every bit as embarrassing as he was before.
