Zack Snyder's Justice League: 10 Issues That Hold It Back From Greatness

3. The Dialogue Is Often Clunky

Much of the writing and storytelling in the Snyder Cut is very assured. Plotlines such as Superman's return, Batman bringing the Justice League together, the Flash's character moments and best of all, Cyborg's (Ray Fisher) excellently done character arc all land well and similarly, the world-building is very good.

Essentially, much of the story is very well-told, but the dialogue could've used a lot of work. Much of it is clunky exposition or bad jokes, and it often lacks subtext too.

Some of the film's dialogue is better - for example, the audio message that Silas Stone (Joe Morton) leaves behind for his son, Cyborg, is very well-written indeed - but for the most part, it left quite a bit to be desired.
