8. Kristen Bells Cameo
After playing Anna in Frozen, Kristen Bell was given a small blink and you'll miss it cameo in Zootropolis. She plays DMV sloth Priscilla. She was apparently cast after the creative team saw her on Ellen where she told the story of her husband surprising her on her birthday with a visit from a sloth. Since she proclaimed the animal her favourite, she was given the chance to play one.
There are of course other cameos too: the Canadian news anchor (a moose called Peter Moosebridge) is played by real life CBC news anchor Peter Mansbridge.
Josh Dallas was also given a cameo: he starred with Ginnifer Goodwin (who voiced Judy) in Once Upon A Time as Prince Charming, and is married to her in real life. It would have been rude not to give him a role, though he presumably hopes she didn't have any say in him being cast as "frantic pig."
