10 Amazing Arcades You Can Visit Today

8. YESTERcades – Red Bank, New Jersey

The aptly named YESTERcades in Red Bank, New Jersey is one of the best homage establishments paying tribute to the arcade games of yesterday. This amazing place was opened in 2011 by Ken Kalada, a man who spent his entire life building up to the dream of one day opening his own arcade.

When that dream became a reality, it not only succeeded, but exploded with success such that he has subsequently opened a YESTERcades at two other locations in Somerville and Westfield, NJ.

One of the reasons the site has been so successful has to do with the low cost of playing and the huge variety of classic cabinets.

"Every customer that walks through the door pays $8.75 plus tax for an hour and can play as many games as they want."

The original location in Red Bank features dozens of classic video game cabinets including "Space Invaders, Tron, Super Off Road, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Asteroids, Galaga, Pole Position, Super Mario Bros., Q*Bert, Final Fight, Spy Hunter and Missile Command." Rows of pinball games may draw in players as well in a place you can play for less than $10 bucks an hour on anything you want.
