10 Amazing Arcades You Can Visit Today
3. Funspot – Laconia, New Hampshire
The aptly-named Funspot Family Fun Center in Laconia, New Hampshire features one of the largest collections of late '70s and 1980s arcade games in the world. Funspot is more than a classic arcade as it also features a bowling alley, indoor mini-golf course, bingo, restaurant, tavern, and many other popular attractions - but the arcade is easily the main attraction.
Throughout the arcade floor, players can find and play more than 500 pinball machines, ticket redemption games and arcade cabinets, with most coming straight out of the 1970s and '80s.
Many of the cabinets on-site have been at the Funspot since they were made as it began all the way back in 1952. After a relocation 12 years later, the Funspot has remained with a huge collection of games that just keeps growing.
Back in 2008, it was named the "Largest Arcade in the World" By Guinness World Records, but lost its standing to another site on this list. Even after losing that honor, the Funspot is still one of the largest arcades on the planet and a fun place to check out should you ever be in the area. In addition to the amazing arcade, the site also hosts The American Classic Arcade Museum, which is a must-see for anyone who considers themselves an enthusiast.
