10 Amazing Arcades You Can Visit Today
2. Pinball Hall Of Fame – Las Vegas, Nevada
For most people who visit Sin City, the last thing on their minds is pinball, which is a shame seeing as the Pinball Hall of Fame can be found at the south end of the Last Vegas Strip. Chances are, if you've ever played a pinball machine, you can find it again at this location, which features more than 1,000 pins!
The site is owned and operated by Tim Arnold, a man who used to install and repair pinball machines in local bars and restaurants. Over the years, he acquired more tables than he knew what to do with, which is how the Pinball Hall of Fame came into being.
This massive 27,000-square-foot facility houses pretty much every pinball machine ever made... or at the very least, the most popular pins of all time. Visiting this site is certainly nostalgic and offers an opportunity to check out some classic pins, but there's another good reason for visiting the arcade: with a wide profit margin thanks to an all-volunteer staff, most of the revenue earned at the PHoF is passed to a nonprofit group called the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club.
