UbisoftYou never completed: Tracking down every last flag. The first Assassin's Creed will be remembered for a great many things - one of which will not be anyone ever reminiscing with a friend over just how much of a swell time they had tracking down all 480 separate flag-collectibles. Yes, you read that right; 480 flags! Granted they're split into two groups so you've got a smidge of variety among the two art assets Ubisoft used to plonk them all around the landscape, but still - 420 Assassin flags and 60 Templar ones with absolutely no reward other than just a series of achievements is extremely naff on Ubi's part. So, how does that break down? Well... - 20.12% of players found all the flags in the opening area of Masyaf. - 8.43% found the Hospitalier flags in Acre. - 7.67% got all the Templar flags that were also in Acre. - 7.53% for the Teutonic flags lastly in Acre. - 6.83% got all of Richard's flags in the Kingdom. - 6.78% for all the flags in Damascus. Back when AC first launched in 2007 everyone was still loving the very idea of a Spider-Man-esque traversal system letting you clamber up the side of anything, so the idea of having an excuse to do so for hours on end was definitely a good one. But 480 little bits of nothing with no reward other than having an achievement back when they actually meant something? If you heeded that call, let us know in the comments!
