10 Annoying Enemies That Almost Ruined Great Video Games

5. Malboro - Final Fantasy Series

Like Zubat in Pokemon, the Malboro has managed to be a mainstay of the Final Fantasy series for decades, infuriating players with its devastating attacks that cripple your party with debuffs like silence, poison and sleep.

Even though players have come to know what to expect from the Malboro after all these years, there's still little you can do if it attacks first, when it's guaranteed to belch out its Bad Breath, debilitating your entire party in a number of ways, and setting you up for a tough battle.

If you manage to evade its Bad Breath, the Malboro is much easier to take down than its menacing, toothy appearance would suggest, but come across a more powerful 'Great Malboro' in the Omega Ruins of Final Fantasy X, and you'll be reminded over and over again, with each successive death, why you hated them so much in the first place.
