4. Rat Thieves - Borderlands 2
Rat Thieves (who also go by another name that can't be typed out in civil communication) are some of the most annoying enemies in the entirety of Borderlands 2. The fact they steal your stuff isn't that big of a deal by itself - it's the fact they can steal a whole damn lot of your stuff.
Because they take your cash while you're preoccupied with shooting a million folk in the face and other extremities, they can manage this for a pretty long time - as, since you aren't taking damage, it's way easier to not notice for a fresh eon.
Which, especially in the later stages of the game, can result in absolutely astronomical chunks of cash being snatched from you. You get a chance to rescue this missing money, of course - but if you don't catch these pesky rascals before they depart to put this loot away in their stash, it's gone forever, leaving you to curse not having randomly done a check of the area behind you.
