8. Evil Dead: The Game
Evil Dead fans are always excited at the prospect of playing a new video game based on Sam Raimi's career-making horror series. But because each film was developed by a different company, it's a logistical nightmare to incorporate elements from any entry in the trilogy.
Luckily, Evil Dead: The Game is the first game partnered by all three of the films studios, Renaissance Pictures, StudioCanal, and MGM. Because of this, the game can implement anything from the movies. Not only that, the developers over Ash vs the Evil Dead, have backed the project, meaning that some familiar faces from the tv series are guaranteed to pop up.
Now, if this game just had Ash tearing Deadites a new one with his trusty chainsaw, fans would probably be satisfied. But based on the trailer, the developers went all out.
Not only can you play as multiple iconic characters, you can battle Ash's team as a Deadite! Also, the game boasts 25+ weapons, giving the player plenty of ways to dispose of zombies.
Evil Dead: The Game may have missed its original launch date in 2021 but fans only have to wait until next February to play as the boomstick-brandishing Ash Williams.
