10 Anticipated Video Games That Have Probably Been Cancelled

4. Batman: Arkham Insurgency

Batman: Arkham Insurgency
Warner Bros. Montreal

Though it was never officially confirmed by Warner Bros., a monstrously detailed Reddit leak broke down everything about Arkham Insurgency, from playable characters to the removal of the Batmobile's tank sections and even which villains we'd be rounding up along the way.

Understandably, the Arkham fanbase lapped this up, and soon Arkham Insurgency was being rumoured to drop at the next E3... and then the next.

Come the close of 2017 we've not seen a peep from WB or their Montreal studio, mostly confirming that - sadly - this elaborate ruse was only that after all.

Batman: Arkham is still a name with traction, and it's not inconceivable to assume that with Shadow of War's lootbox-fronted structure, Warner Bros. are likely redesigning an Arkham sequel to follow suit, shelving Insurgency in favour of a completely different feel.
