10 Awesome Video Game Boss Fights You Can Accidentally Skip

1. Marquis De Bullion - Assassin's Creed Unity

Who'd have thought that the best - and most challenging - boss fight in Assassin's Creed Unity would be contingent on players scoffing down a load of cake?

In specific spots all around Paris you can find extravagant tiered cakes that your character can chow down on. At first glance, it just seems like a fun little easter egg but if you were to find and interact with all five cakes, one Marquis De Bullion would make his presence known.

Once you've had your fill of spongey goodness, a giant cake will spawn in the garden of Luxembourg Palace. Standing atop this cake is the man himself, poised and ready to slap you silly for being a greedy pig. And slap you he will, because make no mistakes, Marquis is incredibly difficult to take down.

It's possible that most players only found one or two of the cakes, or didn't put enough stake in seeking all of them out and therefore skipped over what is arguably the best boss battle the game has to offer.

Either way, we highly recommend going back to Unity and filling your face with cake because this is one battle worth seeking out.
