Logarius sits in his throne atop the roof of Cainhurst Castle, guarding the eternal Queen- not for her own sake, but for any mortal that has strayed too far into the unknown. Logarius has sacrificed his life (and his afterlife) to keep the terrible Queen from ever returning to full power, hence his title of ‘Martyr’.

And as such, defeating Logarius is no easy feat, he has one of the most varied move-sets in the game; firing all manner of arcane curses at the player as they frantically dodge and weave to get to cover. Once the player has learnt these moves, a thrilling battle emerges.

This is a fight where the player must use a myriad of tactics to become victorious. Parrying, backstabs, dodging, long range and short range attacks are all vital to prevail and it is for these reasons that this fight is such an immersive encounter.

Like Ebrietas, it is easy to miss this boss on a first play through… along with the entire Cainhurst area. This is hard to believe, seeing as Logarius is one of the most enjoyable fights in the game.
