The Darkeater Midir boss fight is one of those rare cases where it’s slightly easier to do solo than it is with a friend.

That doesn’t make him easy, though, far from it. He’s got immense health, incredibly powerful attacks and very few weaknesses.

Every battle with a Dragon is hard, but this one really amped it up and is often the final boss that is defeated in the game, even after the Soul of Cinder.

His attacks include vicious slaps, turning you into toast and flying up in the air to use a Godzilla-esque atomic breath attack.

The bosses of Dark Souls 3 were faster and more vicious than those in the first two games and adding Midir’s health bar to that makes him a contender for the hardest boss in the series.

Certainly not your average Skyrim dragon.
