10 Best First-Person Shooters Of All Time
4. Titanfall 2
Titanfall was going to be a franchise that lasted forever, at least that's how it felt after the first game. The series appears to have been abandoned, but weirdly that's not because the sequel was bad. In fact it is very good.
While the story was basic and short, the gameplay of this game incorporated sci-fi and first-person shooting seamlessly. The title was undoubtedly a classic and it also had fun online multiplayer. Unfortunately, it performed poorly and this seemed to doom any more sequels.
Released in between Battlefield 1 and a game that borrowed the futuristic elements from the franchise itself, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, it's safe to say the title could not compete with these more established franchises. While it was definitely a better title than Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and its weird quest to control the solar system, many didn't give Titanfall 2 a chance.
The team behind the game, Respawn Entertainment, have now made Apex Legends but in all honesty it's just not the same. Under appreciated on release, Titanfall 2 is definitely a classic.
