10 Best Free-To-Play Video Games
9. World Of Tanks
Whilst not particularly creatively named, World Of Tanks has hard hitting, engaging combat and needs a legitimate amount of strategic thought required to play.
Of course, when you boil it down, you’re spending most of your time driving around a field shooting at someone else in hopes that they’ll die before doing the same to you, but there are a lot of tanks in the game over a huge variety of classes and tiers. To be a good player you’ll need to know exactly how to specifically deal with a good few of them, if not every single one.
The game is built upon realism, tanks move slowly and take time to fire. You’ll also have crew manning your tank that you’ll have to train. The better your crew are, the more efficient you’ll be in battle.
Whilst with any free to play game, there are premium elements, you’ll unlock a nice, steady stream of tanks as you progress, naturally rising in difficulty to use as your skill and experience with the game increases.
