10 Best Keith David Voice Acting Performances In Video Games

8. Nick Fury - Marvel Heroes

Taking on the challenge of making an excellent videogame based on one comic book character is tough enough, but in the case of Gazillion Entertainment and Secret Identity Studios, creating an MMO RPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) about an entire comic book franchise is tantamount to gaming suicide. Thankfully, despite lukewarm reviews, the studio managed to please a large portion of the vast Marvel fanbase, releasing a title in 2013 which has since expanded through diligent patching and a series of improvements. Boasting the chance to play as up to 41 different characters from the Marvel universe, it's fair to say that many players will have plumped for the opportunity to play as the Hulk, Magneto or Wolverine. The character voiced by Keith David here, Nick Fury, is not a playable character, but that doesn't mean his appearance isn't one fans will remember. It may be, in essence, a more minor part than David is used to receiving, but it only deepens hope that he will get more of a chance in future Marvel games. A voice as classy as this man's surely deserves a bigger role, not in the least because he's so suited to a medium as epic as the comic book world.
