10 Best Legend Of Zelda Songs

4. Song of Storms

Ocarina of Time as a game brought great storytelling, gameplay and visuals, but as the article has so far dictated it also delivered so many of the classic songs that would become an integral part of the LOZ legacy. The Song of Storms is another such theme. It is taught to Link by the Guru-Guru inside the Kakakiro windmill and can be used frequently without the game. It helps with solving puzzles and challenges throughout the playtime.

Further from Ocarina, the song can be found in Majora's Mask as well. Written by the Composer Brothers in this world, Link can learn the song from one of them in their crypt. Flat teaches it to the player and discusses how it represents his sadness over losing his brother Sharp and his anger at his betrayal. If Link plays the music to Sharp in the Spring Water Cave, he revives the Ikana River.

A final trivia note, the whole experience of the song in OOT is an example of the Bootstrap Paradox. The windmill man teaches adult Link the music because he is furious with the damage that young Link did with it. However, young Link then goes back to use the song to do the damage that causes the man to be so furious. Thus Link wouldn't have learned the song had he not played it to the man in the past.
