10 Best Multiplayer Maps In Call Of Duty: Black Ops History

1. Nuketown

The obvious choice for the title of best map in Black Ops history, Nuketown has been reimagined no less than three different times after its introduction in Treyarch’s follow up to World at War, and fans expect it to be a feature of every game at this point.

The pace of most Nuketown matches is often so incredibly quick that there’s never a chance to sit still. Essentially a game of players defending the house in which they spawned, tactical combatants may sit back and ADS through one of the area’s many narrow pathways, and those who prefer high-octane gameplay can pick up an SMG and rush the opposing house.

This map is so popular that it saw two futuristic translations in BO2 and BO3, and it was recently sent to some snowy Siberian plains in Black Ops 4. What’s more, Treyarch saw fit to introduce it to their well-loved zombies mode as a bonus in the second Black Ops game, and modders have added it to just about every other Call of Duty release. Some may disagree, but this even tops Rust, Shipment, or any other of the series' most beloved designs.
