The Gravity Hammer from Halo is a powerhouse of a weapon. In a game full of ranged weapons, it’s difficult to believe that a melee one could be considered the strongest.

Used by Brute Chief’s, the hammer discharges a strong pulse when it hits an enemy, doing massive damage and sending the body flying. You don’t even need to land a direct hit with it, just swinging close to your enemy is enough to send them soaring.

The only downside to this hammer is that it can be bested by ranged weapons. If you can’t get close enough, you're going down. Along with the fact you’re easy to spot when you're holding it, making it prime sniping material.
