10 Best RPG Quests That DON'T Involve Combat
1. “Heroes” (Cyberpunk 2077)

Cyberpunk 2077 spoilers ahead.
It's common to lose folks along the way in action RPGs. Sadly, you rarely have more than a brief moment to mourn them before you start blasting away again. But that's what makes this side job in Cyberpunk 2077 all the more special, as it's entirely dedicated to honouring your lost best friend, Jackie Welles.
This beautiful mission starts when you receive a phone call from Jackie's mother, inviting you to his ofrenda, a traditional mourning ceremony. You begin by looking through his garage to find an item to offer up at the event, alongside his girlfriend Misty. Exploring his space with her gives you a touching glimpse into their relationship and how she is struggling without him.
Then comes the ceremony, wherein you and the rest of Jackie's inner circle talk about his life, pay your respects, and accept that he's gone. The mission ends with Mama Welles gifting you Jackie's beloved motorcycle.
It's great when a game is all action, but moments like this are what make video games an art form.
