10 Best RPG Quests That DON'T Involve Combat
9. “Till Death Do Us Part” (Fable II)

If "The Book of Love" is about bringing lovers together, then Fable II's entry here is the complete opposite - it's about tearing them apart.
"Till Death Do Us Part" is a romantically messy mission that starts after you run into a mournful spirit in Rookridge. Chat to this ghost, and they'll tell you they were ditched at the altar before giving you a special task - go and make their ex fall in love with you, then reject them. So, off you pop to Bowerstone to do just that.
Now, upon finding the ghost's ex, you can either marry them legitimately or break their heart as they did their former fiancé. Pick the first, and congrats; wedding bells start ringing. But, pick the second, and the ex will take their life, eventually meeting up with your ghostly pal and rekindling their relationship in the afterlife. That is, of course, until they learn about the whole plan, which ends the spectral marriage then and there.
This quest is indicative of the goofy yet mean-spirited fun of the Fable games, and it comes with not an inch of bloodshed.
