10 Best RPG Quests That DON'T Involve Combat
7. “A Young Girl's Wish” (Octopath Traveler 2)

The Octopath Traveller games have a banging turn-based combat system. That said, they don't throw all their eggs into that one basket, as the game boasts numerous side quests that pull the focus away from violence. When it comes to picking one for this list, why not go with something heart-warming?
OT2 has a location called Conning Creek, where an "Apathetic Girl" stands in a graveyard. Talk to this girl, and you'll learn that she's sick, very sick. In fact, there's a good chance she's not going to make it. She'll tragically inform you she doesn't see the point in fighting as there's nothing worth fighting for.
But don't fret because you can help.
Osvald's Scrutinise or Casti's Inquire skill will teach you that the girl has a collection of wishes she wants to be granted, including reading a new book in her favourite series, eating a New Delsta crepe, and meeting her hero, Roland, the Floral Designer. Thankfully, donning your wish-making hat and granting her desires helps the kid see that there are things worth living for, and so she promises to keep fighting. Gosh, is someone cutting onions?
