Released in 1998 and developed by the legendry RPG developer Bioware, Baldur’s gate was set in the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms. The game used a Modified ruleset of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition to power its combat and abilities. What’s not to love?
In Baldur’s Gate you will play as a character known as the Ward, you and a group of adventurers will explore the sword coast and attempt to uncover different mysteries. The game has many great features that made fans fall in love with the series.
Where the game really shines though is with the characters that can join your group. In total there are 25 different NPCs that you can get to join you on your adventure, each of these will have their own skills, views, and abilities.
