This one's a bit of a stretch to call a short film. Created as a webseries to tie into the Dragon Age II DLC Mark of the Assassin, Dragon Age: Redemption is now available to watch in its entirety as a single piece. Coming out at 50 minutes, it's pushing the upper limits of what counts as a short film time wise, but it's well worth the time to put into it.

Following Tallis, a prominent character in the DLC, Redemption fully immerses the viewer in the Dragon Age world, from the armour to the lore. This is genuinely an innovative piece, coming out alongside the content it was based on, and playing through the DLC whilst watching Tallis' backstory. You, as the audience, can truly appreciate the depth of character portrayed across the two different mediums.

So if you're looking for a multi-medium work to properly appreciate the second game, which at times, was a little disappointing to be entirely honest, this is the one.
