5. Crash Dash - Crash Bandicoot: Warped

The most important thing to note about the Crash Bandicoot games is that they’re old-school tough.

Simply making it to the end of each of the games’ colorful environments can be taxing, but collecting all the optional Gem and Relics? That’s a whole new level of difficult.

The Crash Dash power debuted in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, and its effect is simple: you hold a button to make Crash run much faster. Not as flashy as the Fruit Bazooka, perhaps, but it’s pivotal in making some of those Platinum Relic times at least remotely attainable. If you’re shooting for 100%+ completion in Warped, this power will be your best friend.

Again, it’s an absolute game-changer, and is available only after defeating twin final bosses Dr. Neo Cortez and Uka-Uka.
