4. State Of Decay 2
While zombie games certainly aren't exactly a rarity, there's something about State of Decay that stands out among the rest. The way it utilizes RPG, co-op, and base-building elements make SoD feel different from the rest in the genre.
The sequel doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does improve on the base game and adds little components here and there to make it feel like a sequel. It is buggy like its predecessor, but the visuals and framerate are improved so the action feels far less held back by its tech.
Simply put, it's more State of Decay. For fans of the initial installment, it'll be exactly what you are looking for. There aren't enough changes to convince non-fans to give it a shot, but there's plenty of solid zombie-fighting action and depth to give you something worth playing for hours on end.
