The most informative victory and a confirmation that GamerGate was, and is, needed. Milo Yiannopoulos - a journalist for Breitbart.com - exposed a secret mailing list which features several prominent gaming journalists across America discuss what to cover, what to ignore, and what approach their coverage should take. The journalist then went further in another article published the week after where names of journalists from Kotaku, Polygon, Ars Technica, Destrutoid, and too many more were dropped. This revelation itself was of little surprise to GamerGate advocates, as suspicion of this sort of activity was already high. Other than the reveal, the fact that eleven articles were published from different media websites in less than 24 hours all claiming a variation of "gamers are dead" made gamers realise that they were actively being targeted.
