Unfortunately, Malenia isn't done. Just as The Tarnished is about to walk away, the wicked wench wraps herself in a cocoon, re-emerging as the self-proclaimed Goddess of Rot. Anyone who thought the first phase was hard will be horrified to learn it was merely the warm-up. Malenia's second phase makes Ornstein and Smough feel like child's play.

Not only is Malenia 2.0 astronomically fast and strong, her attacks aren't telegraphed, making it nearly impossible to dodge anything she throws at you. Worst of all, she's can restore nearly all her health with little notice, effectively resetting the battle over and over.

Although everyone was expecting a challenge, not even FromSoftware purists were ready for this onslaught.
