4. Sword Flying - Halo 2 (2004)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGUAANL5Mtg Those light-beam sword things are some of the most satisfying weapons in the history of video games, what with the lunging and the pffttssztzz sound and the feeling of your controlling vibrating between your palms. Don't worry: I'm definitely talking about Halo. The sword flying glitch was a kind of trick that allowed players to use their energy swords to bypass restricted areas, purely for the sake of having a better look around the environment and enjoying a bit more of the Halo world previously unavailable to us. How to do this? Well, it's a bit tricky to explain in words, so you're best to check out the attached video (there are dozens on YouTube) to get an idea of what this glitch can do for you. Their are a ton of variants, all of which will reward you for your time and effort. In subsequent patch updates, this feature has been removed, though if you're in possession of an older, un-updated copy of Halo 2, you can give it a try. Aren't you lucky?
