5. Bucket Head - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y45bu-i4ZEk If there's anything gamers nowadays are constantly bugging developers for, it's added realism. "Why is that character not reacting to what I'm doing?" is a frequent complaint you hear from just about anybody clutching a controller, and one which spans a whole variety of gaming genres. And though it was perhaps not added in intentionally to address this problem (what is intentional nowadays?), Skyrim incorporates a little bit of bizarro realism by way of a curious glitch - one which involves the use of an ordinary bucket and the willingness to "have a laugh." That's right: pick up a bucket, take it to your local stealerly, and carefully place it atop the head of the establishment's proprietor. Done? Okay, well, in the real world, that guy wouldn't be able to see you, would he? His eyes would be justly blocked by the bucket's interior. Thanks to a glitch, he can't see you in Skyrim, either, so feel free to take whatever you want from the store whilst the old bastard's blinded. This improves Skyrim for two reasons. The first reason is that it is hilarious, and therefore "improving." The second reason is the same as the first - it's that good.
