10 Bizarre Methods To Heal Yourself In Video Games

2. Stabbing Yourself With A Knife - Far Cry

Okay, okay, so the shenanigans you pull with your characters flesh in Far Cry isn't as simple as "stabbing to heal". In fact, it's arguably more thoughtful than many other games when it comes to healing, because instead of just wrapping a bandage over a random part of your arm and calling it a day, you instead extract the bullets stuck in you from taking fire with a knife.

So, what the problem?

Well, the problem is if you're shot and you aren't hustling on your way to a medical facility, extracting bullets from your body is going to do more harm than good. This goes double for when you straight up just fix broken bones by cracking them back into place - as without some splints that's gonna be a bad time.

Obviously, this is in a world of video game logic, so it's not exactly a big deal. But given this appears to be made in an effort to make the game more realistic, it maybe only provides an extra weird out in the long run.
