1. GTA V
I am sure I will receive some heat for picking GTA 5 as a game on this list, but as a very recent release title which falls into this category, I feel compelled to pick it. Since its release on September 17th, the game has made over £700 million in worldwide sales, and is being held up high by reviewers. I've played GTA 5, and I really enjoy playing it; the whole set-up between controlling 3 characters is very entertaining, and the story-line thus far has kept me hooked. However, as reported by numerous outlets, Rockstar Games has warned the public of a massive bug that exists in the game. The bug is that players who park their cars (standard or fully modded up ones) in garages risk losing them forever, along with all the cash spent on them. It would appear sometimes the upgrades vanish and other times the whole car, but regardless of this, it's not good enough in my opinion, as similar bugs have existed in the last 2 GTA games also. Rockstar have admitted that they don't know how to fix the problem, and released the following statement. "In the meantime, please try to avoid parking a car in a garage, driving one already in a garage, or getting in a default vehicle, when playing as a character other than the one with your upgrades." Surely with garages as a feature in the game, it's not acceptable to turn around and tell people to just ignore them entirely and park on the curb. On a different topic, the online features of the game were delayed by 2 weeks until October 1st without any reason given. Sorry, but if you plan to release a game and then suddenly decided to delay the online parts, that really isn't good enough. Various customisable elements still aren't available due to this, and although not game breaking, do detract from the overall experience on offer.
