10 Cancelled Star Wars Video Games That Would’ve Made Millions
6. Episode VII: Shadows Of The Sith
When LucasFilm was acquired by Disney in 2013, LucasArts wasn't immediately dissolved. Instead, with the announcement of a seventh Star Wars film, the studio decided to focus their efforts on constructing a game that would coincide with its release - titled 'Shadows Of The Sith.'
Already adept in making good titles that followed the events of the Original Trilogy, Shadows of the Sith could've been a return to form for the ailing studio. The game would have likely beared all the hallmarks of a classic Star Wars adventure, with old cast members and characters of the first three films bound to make an appearance in some way or another.
The title would also have had the task of constructing a new Expanded Universe, meaning countless story opportunities would have been at LucasArts' disposal.
It may not be the most unique of projects to have had its future destroyed, but Shadows Of The Sith could have signalled a return to greatness for the franchise's waning game series.
