10 Controversial Video Games Your Parents Never Wanted You To Play

7. Postal 2

Running With Scissors

Postal 2 is what every ignorant parent thinks video games are. It€™s immature, shallow, and intentionally offensive. The game is one big joke that half of the population will not find funny, while the other are still holding their sides that it got released at all.

Contrasting its mundane setting and humdrum goals with exaggerated violence, your goal is to simply go about your week, deciding whether or not to take out your aggressions on the hapless populace. Technically you can complete the game without engaging in a single act of violence, though it tries it hardest to break you by alluding to macabre possibilities at every turn.

You can kill people in a variety of ways, all of which are depicted in cartoony fashion - some of the more outrageous options include urinating on people or using a cat as a silencer for your pistol. As you do.

Many parents would be outraged at the very idea of their kid - or anyone - playing Postal 2, especially nowadays when its subject matter is more relevant and taboo than ever. It has never been thought of as a good game, but remains one of the more notorious due to its complete disregard for anyone€™s personal sensitivities, and the controversy it caused because of that - especially among reactionary parents.
