Luigi's Mansion is easily one of the best games on the GameCube. The combination of the unique gameplay style, focus on the environment and characterisation of Luigi made the game extremely memorable, which was reflected in the success it had on the console itself.
Despite this success, Luigi's Mansion isn't as fondly remembered as it deserves to be. The popularity of the Nintendo Switch right now ensures that releasing a true sequel to Luigi's Mansion on the console would be a huge deal. Just stick to the same gameplay, add a cooperative feature and it'll be golden.
