10 Cult Classic Video Games That Deserve A Sequel

If recent rumours are to be believed, Catherine might actually be making a return sometime soon. If true, this is fantastic news because Catherine is one of the best cult classics of the last generation.

These rumours come from Atlus hosting a "Golden Recruitment Special Program" and presenting it with Catherine's style. They even directly referenced a sequel, with Trisha asking about her "next job", which could only really be in reference to Catherine.

So, if these teases are to be believed we might be seeing Catherine 2 sooner than we think. One of the things that made the original game so great was interacting with Vincent's friends throughout the day and watching the relationship drama unfold.

Of course, the main appeal to the game was managing to make your way through the nighttime puzzles. A sequel to Catherine should really make sure that it sticks to this type of gameplay style, although how the plot will manage to involve Vincent Brooks again is unknown. Either way, it's good to see Atlus giving one of their best games a second go.
