10 Darkest Vaults In Fallout History

3. Vault 77

Fallout Vault 77
Bethesda

What’s worse than a vault which spawned one of the Wasteland’s biggest nuisances? A man and his puppets? Apparently. This one gave plenty of people the creeps.

Explored in the official Fallout webcomic series, Vault 77 housed just one dude, plenty of food, and a nice big space to enjoy without the hustle and bustle of overcrowding or evil fungi or pesky doors refusing to close properly. There was one catch though and that was a crate of puppets. Okay, things could be worse. But it turns out you leave a man alone with puppets for a long enough time and he starts to go a bit mad. He gives the puppets names, a new evil puppet rocks up, he commits puppet regicide, gets kidnapped by cannibal slavers once he leaves the vault, and kills them with his bloody Vault Boy puppet hand. You know. Normal stuff.
