10 Despicable Gaming Moments That Show The Censors Might Have A Point

5. Chiller (1986)

Chiller €“ released in 1986 €“ was an arcade game with an incredibly simple premise; rack a high score by shooting €“ as well as activating various traps €“ bounded prisoners until you vomit. Though it looks almost laughably childish by today's standards, for an arcade title, it was pretty racy. The screams are chilling €“ as the title suggests €“ and blood pours out of the prisoners like a busted fire hydrant and worst of all, your dog €“ at least I think it's a dog €“ laps up the bloody puddles. Bad boy. Strangely enough, after the initial screen, Chiller becomes gradually less violent. And, in addition to having absolutely no positive features, the game is unbelievably short. Controlling the lightgun is probably more painful than the torture devises themselves.
