The Force is a strange one, when you think about. No two Jedi are ever granted the exact skills, like an impartial lottery as to what you'll get. Object manipulation, clairvoyance, even mild brainwashing all are up for grabs.

But for former Jedi-in-training Cal Kestis, a lot of his powers lay dormant in the early hours of the new Star Wars Jedi title, Fallen Order. Despite being lucky enough to escape the purge of Order 66, Cal has been in hiding ever since, trying to maintain a low profile.

Whilst his skills are initially limited, he does have the defeat ability to freeze enemies and projectiles in place for a short time. However, invest some more points in this to unlock more potential, like stopping enemies in place for longer, for that reprieve in battle.

Granted, there are better powers to learn down the line, but for the uninitiated players not used to the combat, it's a neat little gift to abuse early on.

It won't get you out of scrape, but it will grant some evasion time.
