An indirect sequel to the equally fantastic and criminally overlooked Bugs Bunny: Lost In Time, Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters is a hidden nostalgic gem deserving of a second look.

The premise sees Granny recruit the eponymous rabbit and marsupial to salvage the missing parts of her broken time regulator after it's destroyed by Daffy Duck, who wants to claim the precious gem that stabilises it.

Their pursuit of the greedy duck takes them to various periods in time, ranging from an Aztec pyramid to a creepy Transylvania, where they must work together to solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and hunt down an assortment of collectables.

With each of the characters possessing their own unique set of abilities, this game's core mechanic involved switching between each hero to complete certain tasks.

While some obstacles involved Bugs burrowing through a hole or Taz pushing a heavy object, others required the pair to cooperate. From bouncing on Taz's head to throwing Bugs across gaps, this element of teamwork added a brilliant twist to the platforming formula. Moreover, this game worked even better when playing with a friend.

Complete with some hilarious gags and colourful levels, Time Busters is an underrated classic from the PS1 era.
