10 Franchises We Need To See Given The Lego Game Treatment

6. Star Trek

Another major franchise yet to have associated itself with Lego is Star Trek. JJ Abrams reboot of the original show into a whole new film series/alternate universe would form the perfect basis for Lego Star Trek: The Video Game. Star Trek and Into Darkness act as a decent introduction to the series which would help to keep the plot relatively straightforward and easy to follow for newcomers to the series and Lego's younger target audience. Just because JJ Abrams's films were the focus of such a game, the adventures of Lego Kirk and Lego Spock could still be a treat for old school Trekkies if the game was filled with references to Star Trek's earlier origins, especially through including characters from the different television shows and earlier films as playable characters. As is key for a Lego game, the diverse crew of the USS Enterprise, as well as the huge supporting cast, could all potentially have unique abilities promoting how some areas (as has become standard in the Lego Games) require certain characters to access and collect the hidden items and collectibles. The potential for the hub world to be the USS Enterprise is certainly an exciting one as getting to explore the iconic ship in a video game has been long overdue. Similarly including hidden bonus levels based on some classic episodes could be a lot of fun if TT Games really wanted to treat the long-term fans.
