1. Dracula Mode - Metal Gear Solid Delta

Gotham Knights Spy Hunter
Konami

Metal Gear Solid 3’s remake has not only refreshed the game's graphics and mechanics but also its incredible secret minigame.

The easter egg in question is quite easy to miss in both the original PlayStation 2 release and the recent remake, as it requires you to do some pretty unorthodox things.  When Snake is imprisoned at Groznyj Grad, you have to lie down on the bed in your prison cell shortly after you have been tortured and then call the Para-Medic to save your progress (something that the game never lets you know you can do).

If done correctly, the woman will tell Snake the story of Dracula as the game saves and the soldier falls asleep. Then, when you quit the game and load up the created save file, you will be suddenly transported to a playable nightmare sequence in the form of a hack and slash game featuring a zombie hunter named Guy Savage.

In the original game, the Guy Savage section was a scrapped Konami project, but in Metal Gear Solid Delta, it has actually been replaced with something even more impressive.

The new version is a proper Dracula-themed hack-and-slash game developed by PlatinumGames, aka the studio behind the iconic Bayonetta series.

The section is an entirely different genre, and yet, because of the talent behind it, the gameplay is smooth and surprisingly in-depth, making you wish it could be an actual game.
