6. Blackjack - Final Fantasy IX

Gambling can be a dangerous vice, which is why if you really need to scratch that itch, it’s better to do it inside fake virtual casinos.

In fact, if you’re a fan of Final Fantasy, you can play both the most popular casino card game and your favorite JRPG franchise at the same time.

Final Fantasy IX, like many Final Fantasy titles, features a plethora of mini-games to partake in. However, it also comes with a hidden Blackjack mode. The game works exactly like its real-life version, and it even comes with a custom deck of cards, making for a fun, casual experience after you beat the game.

In the original PlayStation release of Final Fantasy IX, the only way to unlock this game was to enter a cheat code as “The End” sequence appeared on the screen after the credits. The newer versions of the game, however, automatically unlock Blackjack in the title screen when you beat the main campaign for the first time.

It’s a pretty neat reward for something you were going to do anyway. Especially since it’s basically a brand-new game for you to try out after you just beat the real one.
