6. Gandohar - Two Worlds
Two Worlds is an old RPG about a young man trying to save his sister Kira from a mysterious organization that kidnapped her.
The main villain of the game is a dark wizard named Gandohar, and although you’re not meant to fight him until the finale, you secretly meet him at the start of the game.
The first time you see Gandohar is in the intro village, where he pretends to be your ally, instructing you to gather fragments of an ancient relic so that you can use its power to destroy the group responsible for your sister’s kidnapping.
Although Kira vouches for him and he appears to be on your side, Gandohar is actually using your trust to make you do his bidding. In reality, he is the leader of the group you are trying to destroy, and he is manipulating both you and your sister so that you will help him get the power he wants.
His true intentions are revealed towards the end of the game, but with this said, if you don’t like being manipulated, you can secretly rouse the villagers in the intro to kill him right away, immediately prompting the final victory cutscene.
Not so clever now, huh?
