10 Greatest Ever Video Game DLC That Didn't Steal Your Money
8. The Knife Of Dunwall - Dishonored
There's not much that needed to be changed or added to the brilliant Dishonored formula, though many players came away with the feeling that it'd have been fun to explore more of the decrepit, beautifully stylised city of Dunwall. That's pretty much what Knife of Dunwall offers, while adeptly showing a whole new perspective on the world by putting you in control of Daud, the morally ambiguous assassin leader who murders the Empress at the start of the game. There are a few small gameplay changes here and there - such as the tweaked 'Blink' teleport move, which now stops time when you're not moving. Really though, this DLC is just a well-crafted excuse to let players spend more time in the city, uncovering more of its grim secrets. This DLC takes players to several new locations, including the Legal District, Slaughterhouse Row, and the harrowing Whalers' base - which has to go down as one of the most disturbing and tragic video game locations of all time.
