10 Greatest Games Ever Released On XBOX 360

5. Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 really is a good game, and it's great on Xbox 360 (even if it's generally accepted to be far superior on PC). OK, it has a few bugs: EA/Dice seem to be still patching the game wrongly at times, but the fact is, it remains one of the best first person shooters you can get on the console. The ability to destroy many things you see due to Frostbite, warfare in a range of vehicles and the maps being so big and enabling so many tactics makes the game a worthwhile purchase if you're not into PC gaming. I love how Battlefield 3 works: spawn, get in a tank, shoot to your heart's content, get disabled, run for your life, jump into a helicopter that's landed to pick you up, shoot the bloke who disabled your tank while being lifted out to a brief safety point. It really is that simple. I will admit a lot of the games you find have that one person who wages war on the enemy on his own, but more and more I have learnt to use the search function on the menus to find the best games I can. Searching TEAM VOIP does wonders: if you get in the right game, you can have about 3 squads who all have VOIP turned to team, and all who communicate together to win the battle. I'll state again, we know there are bugs, we know its only 24 players, but to be honest, some of us do not care, because some of us play the game and have a great experience. Battlefield 3 is an immersive game and the perfect game for you and a group of mates. As for the single player, we've seen it before and it was done better in Modern Warfare, but there's really no need to go there.
