In the Mega Drive beat-em-up, Streets of Rage, you battle hoodlums across Woodoak City as Axel Stone, Blaze Fielding, and Adam Hunter. Since Streets of Rage 4 takes place a decade after the last sequel, fans of the classic side-scroller assumed one of the playable characters would be the offspring of the original roster.
And they were 100% right. In SOR4, you can play as Cherry Hunter - the daughter of Blaze and Adam. Cherry may be the weakest of the bunch but this ass-kicking teenager is also the most nimble. Since she's the only character that can run, she can thrash her enemies before they lay a finger on her. This dreadlocked beauty can perform awesome jumping combos that, with a little practice, allow Cherry to hop from one enemy to another, allowing her to defeat a swarm of thugs without touching the floor.
Even though the original trio use standard fighting moves, Cherry utilises her electric guitar in combat. It may sound silly brandishing a musical instrument in a street brawl but once you figure out how to execute Cherry's devastating combos, you won't want to play as anyone else.
