10 Greatest Video Game Easter Eggs From 2012 You Might Have Missed

7. Piano Playing: Max Payne 3

Max Payne Piano Max hasn't had it easy in his life, he can't keep anyone close to him on account of the majority of them ending up dead. This would tip anyone over the edge and Max is no exception. As a little in-joke from previous games- Rockstar have made Max addicted to the painkillers he uses to heal himself in-game. In his third outing, he has been offered a job to act as a bodyguard to a wealthy family all the way down in sunny Mexico. Of course, this being a Max Payne game- nothing is ever that simple. Expect to see a lot of crossing and double crossing, plot twists and the series staples of slow motion dives and pill popping. All of this is beautifully done with the help of Max and his cynical narration throughout the game. In between these chaotic bouts in Max's life though- somewhere along the line he managed to become a highly skilled pianist, rivaling the ability of Mozart and this is demonstrated throughout the course of the game- simply go up to any of the pianos dotted through the levels and Max will play the theme tune from the original Max Payne. It almost makes you feel as nostalgic as old Max. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZKOMJGNNzc
