6. Double Rainbow: Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 is perhaps one of the definitive action-adventure RPG's of recent times. The original was a huge hit due to its vast array of guns, characters and humor- Borderlands 2 done what most sequels fail to do, make it bigger and better. The world itself is huge, though it doesn't feel like a chore to explore it. The bigger your gun, the more kick it seems to have. The numerous side quests too, filled with the signature humor also contributed to making it one of the greatest games of 2012. If you want to see something pretty in amongst the landscape then head towards the Hyperion Base on the East side of the map. See that tent down on that cliff?
